The day starts when you are picked up from your Sapporo accommodation and driven to one of the local ski resorts*.  Once in resort you will be supplied with ski equipment and you will be taught the basics of putting skis on, standing on skis, learning to stop and so on.  Your dedicated bilingual ski instructor will look after you and help you progress with the sport.

After lunch you can choose to continue with your skiing or take part in other snow activities around the resort.  After your exhilarating day in the snow, you will be returned to your accommodation.

So join us and bring back home memories and photos that will last forever.

    * The choice of ski resort is dependant on various factors, including snow/weather conditions, ski resort operation, specific requests from guests.  We will generally take our guests to one of the following resorts: Sapporo Moiwa, Sapporo Kokusai, Sapporo Teine, Takino – other resorts are available on demand.

While most visitors visiting Hokkaido for the first time wish to ski in the famous resort of Niseko, we recommend skiing in other resorts closer to Sapporo for the following reasons:
Less crowded slopes: the resorts we ski in have far less crowded beginner slopes than Niseko.  Busy ski runs can be scary and even dangerous for beginner skiers, and may also result in loss of confidence.
Shorter transfer times: One-way transfers from Sapporo to Niseko take around 2.5 hours in winter (i.e. 5 hour round trip); our resorts are all within an hour of Downtown Sapporo.
Value for money: Niseko’s popularity means that it has become expensive; our resorts charge much more reasonable prices for everything, from ski passes and ski equipment rental to food and souvenirs.
